Purchased an overhead mobile dvd from Amazon. Amazon suggested/pushed purchasing the InstallerNet Deluxe card. I contacted InstallerNet to confirm that the deluxe card would cover the full install of the product it was advertised with. I was told that it would cover all install labor and materials.

When I got to installerNets dealer I was told there would be an additional $120.00. fee. I contacted InstallerNet but they would not stand by their product. I ended up canceling the card and paying the shop directly. Not happy with amazon for selling a product that does not do what it says and would never deal with installerNet again. Good luck if you buy this card.

I purchased 7 inch video headrest monitors and the installerNet card. installerNet doesn’t give you a list of installers, they just pick one for you, and the installer they recommended botched the job. What was supposed to be a 2 hour job, ended up taking 5 hours with no explanation as to why. I found out why, they broke one of my factory headrests, hooked up the wiring incorrectly and messed up my remote starter. I took my NEW vehicle to the dealer and it cost more to have the work fixed than I paid for the the monitors AND the installerNet card combined. All installerNet had to say is since I took it to the dealer, it voided the ‘guarntee’ for the installation and offerd NO compensation. They said I would have to contact the installer if I wanted a refund. (Like I was going to take my vehicle back to the installer so they could ruin my car again). I would not recommend using installerNet

    Very unsatified customer…

  3. I thought it would be easy to pick up the DVD player and the install in one transaction. When I got to the local installer he told me it would be several hundred dollars plus the installer card. What???? “The installer card is good for an hour or so of labor and the rest is out of your pocket.” What a waste. I didn’t think that my set-up was too complicated but the fine print lets them charge extra. The card was returned immediately. I went to Best Buy and the install quoted was the amount charged (no extra couple hundred dollars).

This worked perfect for me with no hassle and installation was done in less than a week from purchase. Professional install and would use this method for future car addons. Highly recommend….
